With this combo you can ice fish more sensitive fish. Fiber glass rod comes with film tip. Use film tip with mormyshkas and fiber glass tip with ice fishing spoons. Reel is designed so that the line runs freely when reel is in a vertical position. When reel is in a horizontal position facing down, the line is locked so the fish can't take the line.
