Zander eat small fish to live, so we recommend the length of bait, jig and ice fishing lure to be used is 6-14 cm. When fishing for zander, the equipment should be a little more stiffer than, for example, when fishing for perch.
In winter, you need a strong fishing rod to hook a hard-jawed fish. Line recommendation for zander is 0.25 - 0.30 mm monofilament line. For summer fishing we recommend a 198-240 cm strong rod with line recommendation of 0.14 - 0.20 mm braided line.
