Salama means lightning. We all know that big lightning hits hard so does this Jasu Salama. This Finnish innovation is the world’s first inline-body spinner.
Jasu Salama combines the best features of spoon and spinner lures into one highly effective package that delivers proven results. Designed in Merikarvia, Finland – where fishing innovations are born – Salama’s performance has been widely recognized: it was awarded Lure of the Year for rainbow trout by Erä magazine.
Salama is a true predator catcher. It works brilliantly for perch, rainbow trout, brown trout, Atlantic salmon, pink salmon, Arctic char, zander, pike, asp, and cod – in other words, practically all predatory fish in northern waters. The lure is long-casting and very easy to use, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned anglers.
The body is impressively coated to withstand impacts from rocks and bottom contact, and the vibrant colors stay intact even under heavy use. The lure’s flashy, aggressive swimming action combined with its freely spinning blade draws fish in from far away. A sharp hook with a colorful strike point ensures solid hookups, and the double split ring attachment helps prevent fish from escaping.
Jasu Salama is completely lead-free and made from stainless steel, making it an environmentally friendly choice – and perfect for saltwater fishing worldwide.
For best results, use with a spinning setup and a 0.10–0.25 mm braided line. Add a Jasu Snap with swivel between the line and lure to prevent line twist and avoid unnecessary tangles.
Manufactured and assembled in Finland, Jasu Salama represents quality, responsibility and proven functionality.
