The Puru jig is effective on winter fishing trips for all fish. The jig consists of a floating Suvas jig head, a small fish-imitating Puru jig and a colored hook. Ice jig works for ice fishing for perch, zander, rainbow trout, grayling and whiting. Ice jigs are actively swum with the tip of the rod, but sometimes a calm vibration and holding in place is the most effective way to hook a fish. It is worth changing the technique and fishing depth often to get the best result.
