Suvas is an effective jig that looks like a real small fish for perch and zander in all waters in all seasons. The design of the jig head allows the ice fisherman to get a swimming action that imitates a small escaping fish with small bumps. The eyes of the jig head complete this work of art. The barb on the hook shank holds the jig well in place. The Suvas jig also works with a traditional round jig head or when just threaded onto the hook in dropshot jigging. The Suvas jig gets its name from the Suvas watercourse, where the product originated. One ice fishing day in Suvas, the timid perch only accepted a real vendace threaded onto the jig head. Then, on the ice, a jig in the shape of a real vendace was shaped from 108 colored Louhe and the code was broken. The fish started to rise. After the trip, the vendace shape was copied into a casting mold and Jasu Suvas was born. The jig has shown its effectiveness at sea and in the lake in all seasons.
